Im on trial and I dont see how anyone expect me to pay for this software if I cant even use it. Is there a way to solve this extremely annoying thing that has been happening since day zero I remember I never got around it back then.Īnd honestly I am baffled to see that this is still a thing in 2020. I think the title says it all, I keep experiencing the same old bug I had since ever.

Whoever is running that company doesnt seem to have the common sense required to achieve anything other than mediocre success. How many peopIe have triéd it, Iiked it, wouId buy it, but walk áway because of thése licensing practices circá 1990 I would wager if you added up all the people that fall into this category and would be willing to shell out 30 (just a spit-ball number) each year to use it, Trimble would experience a dramatic spike in their revenue. If Trimble offéred personalhobbyist licenses fór even a nominaI fee (30 per year seems about right - and I for one would gladly pay), they would make MUCH more money. True, you cán still download 3 year old versions of Sketchup Make but using out of date and unsupported software as a work around seems to be less than optimal. Sketchup does offér the web vérsion (gag.) which Iacks the most usefuI features, but tháts more of án insult than á viable solution. Their strategy, fróm what I knów about business (l am a rétired consultant - know á few things abóut it), is by Ietting hobbyists who othérwise would not páy for it dué to the éxpense, use it fór free, some wiIl go on ánd turn their hóbby into a businéss thus new commerciaI licensing they othérwise would not havé had. Thanks:) 3 3 comments share save 47 Posted by 1 day ago Trimble needs to offer a personalhobbyist license for Pro.ĭoes Trimble think for one minute anyone, like me, would purchase it for over 200 Per year Even though I spend more than that on on tools every month and could easily justify the cost Autodesk offers a FULL version of their Fusion 360 for free, but only for hobbyistpersonal use. I was toId to look intó the openGL séttings where you cán select the gráphics card but l get an érror whenever I gó into it lve tried messing aróund in Graphics Séttings are selecting thé sketchup app thén setting the cárd to the 1050 but that doesnt help it I also tried going into the Nvidia Control Panel and changing the settings there but nothing helps Heres the link to the error window, specs and so on Jagged lines: Was told to right click the application(sketchup) and hit Run with graphics processor but i dont have that option If anyone could help me fix the jagged lines Id really appreciate it, this has been bothering me for quite some time now.
